24MP full frame with Canon's warm rendering and very clean high-ISO behaviour. A strong low-light body — noise stays fine-grained rather than blotchy, so luminance noise reduction can stay low and detail survives.
Looks that suit these files: CineStill-ish 800T, Portra-ish 400.
The files it writes
The Canon EOS R6 Mark II records RAW as .cr3. The 24 MP files are already modest, so C-RAW buys less here than on the R5 while costing the same headroom. Plain RAW is the sensible default on this body.
