Terms of Use
Last updated
By using RawCut you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
The service
RawCut is a free tool that reads photo metadata and editing recipes and replays them as a visual breakdown. It is provided as-is, with no guarantee of availability, and we may change or discontinue features at any time.
Your content
You keep all rights to the photographs and files you open. Since files opened in the Studio and the converter never leave your browser, we never receive them and claim nothing over them.
When you publish to the community you grant RawCut a non-exclusive licence to host and display that post within the service. You keep ownership, and deleting the post ends the licence.
What you may not publish
Do not publish work you do not have the rights to, content that is unlawful, hateful or harassing, or sexual content involving minors. Mark sensitive material using the NSFW flag at publish time. We may remove content and suspend accounts that break these rules.
Third-party formats
Lightroom, Photoshop, Camera Raw, Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve are trademarks of their respective owners. RawCut reads and writes openly documented formats and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Adobe or Blackmagic Design.
Recipe estimation, reverse-engineered looks and exported .cube files are approximations produced by our own rendering engine. They will not always match another application’s output exactly, and are not suitable as a reference for colour-critical delivery.
Disclaimer and liability
RawCut is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of data, arising from your use of the service. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
