Editing notes
Base ISO 50 gives exceptional highlight headroom. Leica's rendering is contrastier out of camera than most, so presets built on flatter files often need their contrast pulled back rather than pushed.
Looks that suit these files: Tri-X-ish 400, Moody matte, cool grade.
The files it writes
The Leica Q3 records RAW as .dng. Native DNG, so there is no proprietary container to convert away from and no waiting for converter support after a firmware update. Everything opens it.
